KC's Burlesque Show
On Saturday 22nd of June the beautiful showgirls from Boutique Burlesque By Bailey graced us with their feathers, crystals, heels, stockings, dresses, tassels and dancers. They frolicked around KC's with their grace, sass, beauty and charism, posing for photos with the crowd before absolute wowing the full house at KC's with their performances. With Live music all afternoon from Sweet Alibis, the two entertainers had the crowd going all night!

A little about them.... "Boutique Burlesque is a Mackay based studio reflecting the direct passions of mother and daughter team, Sharon and Bailey. Over the last ten years Bailey has performed as a professional dancer and burlesque entertainer in Dubai, for Princess Cruises America, Brisbane, Melbourne and London. Bailey is excited to bring her knowledge and love for burlesque right to your front door! Sharon has a flare for connecting with women of all ages. Sharon was inspired by burlesque at her first workshop, realising that the combination of good music, a great instructor and a little bit of champagne could help women let go of their inibitions and embrace the beauty of being a woman! Together they have created Boutique Burlesque to help women celebrate exactly who they are, learn the art of tease and most of all have a good giggle. Enjoy what we have to offer, giggle, learn to bump and grind and celebrate being the woman you are!"
In the lead up to the event we had an amazing amount of donations from local businesses come to us to be part of the prizes available on the night. These included Best Dressed, Best Fascinator, Best crowd dancer, Best Singer, Lucky Drink Prize, a Facebook competition and an Auction on the night with all proceeds going to Sailability Whitsundays.

Locals to Airlie & Mackay as well as visitors from hours away came to see these girls entertain us for the night, the place was full, the smiles were ear to ear, the drinks were flowing and the dance floor was full. KC's cannot wait to have another Burlesque night in the future and we think the town feels the same way!
