LLOYD SAUNDERS

Lloyd Saunders is an acoustic Guitarist who compliments his smooth flowing melody's with a warm vocal and captivating stage presence. Born and bred in the South West Qld central of Roma, has a proud and strong family attachment to the area, stemming from the indigenous culture of Gunggari he is always well in touch with cultural activities in his home town.

Based in the North Queensland Coastal location of Mackay he has spent the past years completing an apprenticeship in Joinery, and now has taken a break from the workshop and made time to fulfil his lifelong passion, that being, to make his mark as a professional musician.

Along with his musical talents Lloyd is also a semi-pro Skater, who has recently received clothing and board sponsorship from Aussie label Black Sheep Industries.

With the prospect of compiling his own album in the coming months, he has been offered a spot in the history books with other Australian artists who have built their careers in the very same fashion, through a lot of hard work and sacrifice.

Writing his own music in the vein of artists such as Diesel, Pete Murray and John Butler, Lloyd Saunders live is an experience you won't forget! Lloyd spent the majority of 2012 on tour as support act with new Aussie release band Chasing The Jeffery (Mackay) other supports are- The Blood Poets (Brisbane) & Brad Butcher (Brisbane/Mackay)

Lloyd has formed his 3 piece original band with young powerhouse drummer-Shannan Fitzgerald & Richard 'Dik' Smith on backing vox/ harmonies,Bass & Guitar which makes a live show with a smooth flowing dynamic punch you will not forget!
